The Full Story
SAR Redhens 311 & 402
Well, if it was not for my search leading to Korumburra, South Gippsland Victoria, with the help from Shane Blitz a former South Gippsland Railway Driver/Trainer both 1955-60 built SAR Redhen 311 and 402 would well and truly be part of the never to be seen again Railway History of South Australia. With that, I would like to share a little more of my story on this page.

Mission
My mission is to bring back to South Australia both SAR Red Hen 311 and 402, for a complete restoration. With the restoration will be many modern changers, like a rest room, air-conditioning, high bar and lounge area, whilst still maintaining the look both on the out side and in... But just with some modem futures.

The over all plan is to also have a Red Hen as a restored non-powered car, with a full length lounge, inducing a bar and restroom as well as air-conditioning.
The mission is to also bring home to South Australia the only 3 converted Red Hens the Superchooks from NSW, to also restore them back to an operating standard.

Vision
Well simply until both Redhens are back in South Australia, there is no business plan... This is due to the ever changing task of simply just trying to bring both Redhens back to South Australia, it is not worth having a business due to delays and ever change circumstances.

When a Business Pan is written there are many factors to include, and sadly there are many reasons for a Business Plan to fail mainly there is only one required and then the hole plan is sort of either delayed by a months, or even one to two years. Then questions are raised "what is happening" and or "finger pointing" but in reality delays are a big factor.
